Food for Thought
After owning a pet, I find myself looking twice when I see cats or dogs crossing the street, just to make sure they cross safely. It breaks my heart to see news about animal abuse. If you can't take good care of them, why get a pet in the first place? Shouldn't interactions between people, or between people and animals, be based on cherishing the bond?
