Rip's Breakfast

The morning sun streamed through the wooden window panes of the brunch spot, casting a glow on the stack of freshly baked pancakes drizzled with honey and fresh blueberries on the table. "Rip!" I handed him a small fork. The little blue otter immediately wagged his tail happily, his round eyes sparkling with anticipation. He skillfully gripped the fork with his tiny paws and excitedly speared a syrup-covered blueberry, popping it into his mouth. His cheeks instantly puffed up, revealing an incredibly satisfied smile. Soft chuckles could be heard from other customers around, but in his eyes, there was only the sweet breakfast before him.
