Shami's Stubbornness: A Tale of Stretching the Neck for Pats

The afternoon sun streamed softly onto the bed through the window lattice. Amidst the dreamy, watercolor-like light, 'Shami,' the family's orange and white cat, sat perched on a plush cushion. With a fluffy body and ears that drooped like a rabbit's, its orange and white tabby markings paired with soft, long ears were exceptionally endearing. I stared at its round, sitting posture, noticing its neck tucked into its thick fur, and couldn't help but chuckle and tease, "Shami, why do you look like you have absolutely no neck?" As soon as I spoke, the little one seemed to understand. It first slightly opened one eye, then forcefully lifted its tiny chin, pointing its pink nose straight at the ceiling. It desperately stretched its fluffy body upwards, extending its seemingly non-existent neck as if trying to prove to me with all its might, "See, I definitely have a neck!" Its long rabbit ears dangled softly on either side, the pink inner ears particularly translucent in the sunlight. It straightened its body, revealing fluffy white neck fur like a cotton ball, and with closed eyes, head tilted up, its haughty yet stubborn expression was simply unbearably cute. Seeing it like this, my affection instantly overflowed, and I couldn't resist reaching out, following its raised chin, and gently stroking its fluffy neck and soft long ears. Shami, far from dodging, instead let out a faint purr of satisfaction and nudged its head further upwards. In that moment, the entire afternoon seemed to stand still for it, leaving only warmth and an ineffable sense of comfort filling the room. Scottish Folds are really so cute~~ But Shami is also very cute~ Even though it often changes appearance when I draw it🤣
