Freedom

Let the one you love soar freely as they wish, You say loving someone means giving them freedom. Yet, you worry: Will they be safe and sound? Will they be happy and joyful? Will they miss you every moment, Just as you miss them every moment? You grant them freedom of action, But bind yourself in layers with your worries. Such love, in turn, makes you unfree. And if they sense your unease, How can they truly feel free? So, my dear, freedom isn't just a verbal promise, It's also wholeheartedly trusting the other person. Only trust can truly untangle each other's bound wings.
