This heavenly experience, I still miss it so much! 🥹 🍣 Fresh sashimi, white prawns, local delicacies, while enjoying the sunset and starry sky! 💔 A wonderful restaurant that once amazed us, now only memories through photos… Some restaurants, once you've tried them, stay in your heart; even if they close, you can't forget them. Let's reminisce about "Brother Nan's Fishing Boat Cuisine" ⚓ in Pingtung, a super unique place! The owner wanted to bring fishery closer to everyone's daily life~ so he turned his fishing boat, used for his daily fishing business, into a limited-time seaside picnic space. He carefully curated local specialty foods and harbor delicacies, operating only for a short 4 hours a week. Sashimi🍣, white prawns🦐, unlimited beer/drinks 🍻 🍣 Tuna, Cobia, Threadfin Salmon - the meat is tender, slightly sweet, fresh, and not fishy. Cobia and Threadfin Salmon are personally farmed by the owner. Eating at the source is different! Even just a squeeze of lemon juice without soy sauce is delicious! Also, 🍖Ham Croissants, 🥗Smoked Salmon Salad, Desserts: 🍫Fuwans 70% Chocolate Ice Cream, Fuwans Cocoa Cola, Donggang Shuang Geng Run 🍫A scoop of Fuwans Chocolate Ice Cream is NT$110~ but here at Brother Nan's, you can eat as much as you want. 🍹Fuwans Cocoa Cola - Not a cola at all, but a refreshing sparkling drink with fresh fruit aroma~ Made from fresh cocoa fruit and various fruits, it's a sparkling drink with a slight sweetness, fruitiness, and the tingle of carbonation. Sitting on the deck, feeling the sea breeze, enjoying delicious food, and watching the sky turn from golden sunset to night ✨ Even though it's closed, every thoughtfully run restaurant deserves to be seen by more people.

The sea is so vast and inviting~~ I don't really like sashimi, but your photos make it look delicious! The view of the sea connected to the restaurant that you photographed, I think you can currently only see that on the south or east coast! In Taichung, apart from the famous Gaomei Wetlands (which might not have seaside restaurants?), I only know that Longjing beach is a military base and inaccessible, or other coastal areas are quite desolate 😂. But it's also possible I haven't explored all the attractions or restaurants on the west and north coasts 🤣 I'm sure it's possible to find such a vast and relaxing scene (the west coast often has more messy docks or fishing ports, though they're still fun~~
