The Donkey's Limited Skills
Origin of the story: In ancient times, the region of Qian (modern-day Guizhou) had no donkeys. Someone transported one from elsewhere and released it at the foot of a mountain. A tiger in the mountains saw this huge creature and was initially very scared, hiding in the woods to observe it secretly. One day, the donkey suddenly let out a loud bray, which frightened the tiger into thinking it was some kind of powerful weapon, and it turned to run. However, after spending some time together, the tiger realized that the donkey had no other skills besides braying loudly and kicking with its hooves. The tiger then seized an opportunity, pounced, and killed and ate the donkey. Extended meaning: A metaphor for having exhausted one's meager skills and having no further means to deal with an enemy.
