9/21 Li Li-fen - Proud Laughter

Proud Laughter (1993 TTV 'Heroic Youth' Theme Song) Lyrics & Music: Xiao Chong Life is inherently a play Why bother dwelling on grudges and resentments? Fame and fortune, what are they? Born without them, die without them Life's twists and turns, human joys and sorrows If not fated this life, we'll meet in the next Love and hate, what are they? When the boat reaches the bridge, it will naturally cross Let's wave our sleeves, don't look back It's time to drink and make merry Though gold is good, happiness is hard to find I've walked潇洒 (xiāosǎ - freely and elegantly) down every road I laugh proudly, and laugh proudly again Laughing at the world, I won't grow old (Singing while holding wine, seize the day) I laugh proudly, and laugh proudly again Seeking a lifetime of carefree joy
