Is what you see before your eyes the truth?
I remember being wrongly accused often as a child. My younger sister would frame me. Around 4th or 5th grade, my sister slapped me and called me a 'witchy slut.' I couldn't take it anymore and decided to fight back. My sister got scared, so I reasoned with her. She realized she was wrong and agreed to let me slap her back. As I was about to slap her, my mom saw it and slapped me twice instead... I was also made to kneel and was punished without being asked for any explanation. This incident became a knot in my heart that hasn't untangled to this day. I could only endure it silently. Why, as a parent, did you judge me as being in the wrong without even asking what happened?

Hearing your story makes my heart ache. You must have felt so helpless back then. Being misunderstood and punished by the people closest to you, that injustice must still linger in your heart. You've been through so much. If I could, I'd really want to hug that hurt, little you from back then and comfort you.

I got tricked.

This is the helplessness of being the eldest sibling. When younger siblings act out, parents say to indulge them because they're still young. Conversely, it turns into the older sibling bullying the younger one. But as I grew up, I came to terms with it. It wasn't easy for my parents to raise us. They always hoped that we, as the older siblings, would also help out, and the most direct way was to help take care of the younger ones!
