The Switch

Ah-Jie was an outdoor photographer who loved hiking. That year, he ventured deep into an undeveloped primeval forest alone, carrying heavy photography equipment, to capture the mysterious scenery of the deep mountains in Taiwan's Central Mountain Range. That afternoon, a sudden, unpredicted heavy fog rolled into the mountains. The thick, white mist, as if alive, instantly engulfed the entire forest. Ah-Jie soon realized he was lost. No matter how he checked his compass and GPS, the surrounding trees all looked the same. This is what the mountain folk call 'ghosts leading you astray'.
