The Black Cloak and the Little White Tail

"No blizzard, no matter how fierce, can be colder than your embrace." Arpeil, the tsundere black deer, always complained about things being a 'nuisance,' yet the moment the snowstorm began, he instinctively spread his wide black cloak and pulled the lively little white fox, Bellachi, close into his arms. Bellachi nuzzled against his warm chest, proudly flicking her fluffy, bushy tail. Arpeil helplessly lowered his head, gently touching her ear tip with his warm nose, his eyes filled with doting affection. "For the rest of your life, you're staying right here inside my cloak. You're not going anywhere." The snowy night was long, and the warmth of them nestled together was sweet enough to melt an entire mountain of ice.
