Bickering Under the Fruit Tree

"Hey! I spotted this one first!" Finn jumped up indignantly, his big, round red eyes wide. At that moment, the ripest, brightest apple, hanging from the highest branch, was already nestled securely in Elur's palm. Elur looked down at him from his height, a subtle, mischievous smirk playing on his lips. He slowly wiped the apple with his sleeve, even dangling it in front of Finn's face. "Spotted it first? But at this height, you couldn't reach it even if you had wings, little rabbit." "Who are you calling a little rabbit! I almost had it!" Finn puffed out his chest stubbornly, trying to make himself look taller. But standing before the mountain-like Elur, he looked more like a fluffy, angry snowball. "Oh? Is that so?" Elur raised an eyebrow, then, with a wicked glint in his eye, raised his hand even higher, hiding the apple amongst the dense leaves. "How about this? Try getting another one for me, then?" "Elur! You arrogant Antler-Beast!" Finn stomped his foot in anger and, without another word, started climbing up Elur's clothes, grabbing his white fur collar with hands and feet. "Hey! Stop grabbing my neck, it tickles!" Elur, who had been watching the show, instantly broke character, trying to pull the troublesome rabbit off while suppressing his ticklishness. Suddenly, they were tumbling and squabbling under the fruit tree, sunlight filtering through the leaves to dapple them. Despite their constant bickering from the moment they met, the orchard was filled with the cheerful laughter unique to this feuding pair.
