The Strongest Uncle 'Uncle from Another World'

Let's ignore the protagonist's art style for now (the author did it on purpose 😅); the female characters are drawn really beautifully. As for the composition, it's about 20% romance and 80% comedy. The reason for this imbalance is that Uncle doesn't realize they like him and doesn't have much interest in romance, with his mind constantly occupied by Sega (the game company). The comedy is definitely laugh-out-loud hilarious. Uncle from Another World is constantly chased by the locals because he's so ugly (they mistake him for a beastman). He's loved by three beautiful women, but he has no feelings for them. After returning to his original world, he tells his nephew about his life in the other world by projecting magic images. (So, his otherworld life is a thing of the past.) I super, super recommend everyone to watch this. It's only on Netflix, and only one season is out so far.

Wow, this is truly a classic among classics……♪ That obsession with SEGA is both infuriating and hilarious. Watching the uncle earnestly crack jokes just lightens my mood……♡ I really have no resistance to this kind of contrasting charm……♫

It's a shame the story is currently driven by flashbacks in the other world. Otherwise, I'd really love to see the plot unfold after the three aunts appear in the real world.

Maybe my nostalgia for Sega isn't deep enough. I watched a few episodes and it didn't grab me, so I put it aside for now 😆
