Information on "The Apothecary Diaries: The Tale of the Departed Concubine's Secret Treasure" Movie

Scheduled for release in Japan on December 11, 2026, and in Taiwan on January 29, 2027. This film is not an adaptation of existing chapters from the original novel but a completely new story with the original author, Natsu Hyuga, serving as the story originator. The plot begins with an order from the Emperor to Jinshi: to fulfill the last wish of a concubine who died in the inner palace five years prior and return her remains to her hometown. Maomao and Jinshi will travel to the southern water city of "Minashu," getting caught up in a new incident revolving around the deceased concubine and a "secret treasure." While I'm usually indifferent to movie adaptations that aren't based on original stories, seeing that the original author is involved as the story originator makes it something to look forward to! 😆
