Why Do Fallen Leaves Stick to the Bottom of My Shoes?
As soon as I got to the office, the uncle opened his external hard drive to get the job done, only to have his heart drop the next second – all the data he worked so hard on for the past three days was gone! I clearly saved it! The boss, who also worked overtime with me, was startled and looked at me with a pale face. The uncle had to urgently take leave and rush home to find the files. In a hurry, I rushed downstairs to catch the bus, but I watched it drive away right before my eyes… Don't forget that today is a holiday and the bus schedule is reduced. The next bus will take over 30 minutes to arrive! There was no choice but for the uncle to grit his teeth and walk home. The sun was scorching and hot. Walking on the sidewalk near the school, looking at the ground covered with yellow and green fallen leaves, the uncle tried to comfort himself: "Walking is actually quite comfortable…" Then, the next second, I suddenly found a large bunch of fallen leaves stuck to the bottom of my shoe that wouldn't come off. I thought, "This is the worst luck, encountering 'dog-poop luck'!". The uncle quickly hid under a tree to clean them. At that moment, an auntie passing by after grocery shopping pinched her nose, covered her mouth, and stared at me with the eyes of someone looking at a rare creature... The uncle checked carefully… Strange! There was no dog poop! So how did these fallen leaves stick so firmly to the bottom of my shoe?! 😭👟🍂 💡 Today's realization: External hard drives are as unreliable as love. It says it's saved, but in reality, it has already evaporated! 💥 Social embarrassment index: 95% (Desperately picking at the leaves stuck to the shoe bottom under a tree, being stared at by a grocery-shopping auntie as if I were a foul-smelling spectacle) ❓ Soul-searching question: Has anyone else experienced a magical moment where "you clearly didn't step on dog poop, but your shoe bottom was inexplicably covered in stuff"?!

Whoa!? Losing data sounds terrifying. Just looking at it makes my head spin. Leaves stuck to your shoe soles are definitely bad luck. Quickly find a place to sit down and eat something delicious to chase all that bad luck away!

Because the fallen leaves are wet? Or because the uncle's shoe soles are wet? 🤔🤔

It's because there's friction between the sole of your shoe and the fallen leaves.

Is it too hot that the leaves got scorched?
