Brat!! Saying that about an old man like that 🤬😡😭

After work today, I, an old man, decided to be diligent for once and go for a few laps around the elementary school track near my house. The night air was cool and breezy, and I walked with my mind cleared, enjoying this rare moment of peace. Besides me, there were a few energetic grandpas and grandmas doing their brisk walk on the track, and next to them was a child, about five or six years old, who seemed bored, brought along to accompany the exercise. As I finished my third lap, 'panting heavily,' and was about to stop to wipe my sweat, my eyes met with that child's. The child's eyes widened as they looked at me, then they tugged on their grandma's hand, pointed at me, and said loudly, "Grandma! Look at that uncle! He walks so slowly, slower than you! And he's sweating so much, he looks so tired!" The grandma awkwardly patted the child's hand away and gave me an apologetic look. I could only awkwardly retract my smile and quicken my pace (though not by much) to leave that place of trouble. 💡 Today's realization: It turns out the existence of an old man like me is to let children know the 'consequences of not exercising.' 💥 Breakdown level: ★★★★☆ ❓ Is it too late to join the brisk walking group of those grandpas and grandmas now to salvage my middle-aged dignity?
