Teenage Amnesia
My kid came home from school and happily chatted with mom about their favorite game. Blah blah blah. Mom finally interrupted them to ask for their communication log and papers that needed signing. "Just sign them while you're at it." And then they continued blah blah blah. A little while later, Mom asked, "Where's the communication log?" The kid replied: "Oh right, I forgot again." Seeing mom's anger meter rise, the kid cheekily said: "I have teenage amnesia, you know. Be understanding..." 🤨🤨🤨😒😒😒

Then Mom can show them too. Don't cook dinner and let them starve for a bit. Don't wash their uniforms and make them wear dirty clothes to school. If the kid asks, just say "I have dementia." Try to be understanding. 😶😶😶😶😶
