Thought It Was Hit and Paralyzed! Black Dog in Taitung Crawls with Hind Legs Dragging... The Truth Stunned Netizens

A 'crippled act' unfolded on the streets of Taitung recently, leaving onlookers stunned from pity to disbelief. Netizens couldn't help but exclaim, 'You're wasting my sympathy!' In an alley in Taitung City, a black dog was seen dragging its hind legs on the ground, supported only by its front limbs, looking pitiful. Mr. Chen, on his way to work, saw this scene in his rearview mirror and assumed the dog was injured by a vehicle or attacked. He quickly took out his phone to film and prepare to contact authorities for assistance. However, the next moment, a scooter passed by, and the seemingly paralyzed dog instantly 'recovered,' standing up with its hind legs and nimbly dodging the vehicle with all four paws. It even happily rolled and kicked its legs on the ground. Mr. Chen was left speechless, laughing and saying, 'It's like a scam artist!' He then posted the video online. Nearby residents mentioned that this black dog usually roams the Siwei Road area and is in good health, adding that it 'seems to really like chasing cars.' Netizens who watched the video also commented, 'Actor of the dog world,' and 'Even dogs are becoming scammers now.' Veterinarian Zhong Hui-zhen explained that a dog dragging its hind legs might be scratching an itch or cleaning itself. If a stray dog feels itchy and its owner previously praised such behavior, the dog might find it amusing and exaggerate the 'performance.' However, the vet also warned that if a dog frequently exhibits abnormal behaviors like dragging its hind legs or excessive scratching, it's important to consider potential skin or parasite issues and seek professional help. I was fooled too, thought the dog was limping 🤣🤣
