#2026-04-03 #MarineConservation #DongshiMarineStation My wife said we could borrow hot water from the Coast Guard, and I was worried they'd refuse and tell us to go to the service desk. But the Coast Guard didn't refuse and immediately took us to get water. They even gave us a tour of the station and patiently explained marine conservation. They turned on the air conditioning for us because they were afraid we'd get too hot inside. They told us to rest for as long as we needed and to just close the door when we left, as they had to go on a mission. Last time my car broke down in front of a police station while waiting for a tow, an officer came out and said, "You're obstructing our operations, please don't linger in front of the police station."
