Sami's Favorite Way to Sleep

In the afternoon, sunlight streams through the curtains onto the bed. Just as I'm about to doze off, I feel a familiar furry touch on my chest—Sami has arrived. It has soft, floppy ears like a rabbit, and its snow-white fur is adorned with golden tabby markings. It lightly leaps onto my chest, its designated personal bed. It nuzzles my chin with its little head, purring softly, then curls into a ball, placing its front paws on my collarbone. Its long, drooping ears rest against my heart, where it hears the heartbeat that reassures it the most. "Coming here to sleep again?" I gently stroke its warm back. Sami squints its eyes, its tiny nose twitches slightly, and its breathing gradually evens out. Its body rises and falls slightly with my breathing, like a warm, furry little heater. Listening to its steady, soft snores, my own jumbled thoughts also begin to settle. Lying on my chest is Sami's favorite way to sleep. It gives Sami a sense of security, being enveloped; and its steady breathing and unguarded sleeping face are also a good medicine to heal my worries. In this warmth within a small space, we drift off to dreamland together. Sleeping like this in winter is really nice and warm~ In summer, you need to turn on the air conditioning, or you'll die of heat🤣
