Mingjian Township - Grandpa's Grilled Meat Rice

The shop is quite small. Only two or three tables for dine-in. Most customers are probably takeout. When I went this time, only the grilled meat rice was available. However, the grilled meat rice was super fragrant and the portion was generous. When I visited today, the owner was grilling meat at the station. I had a little chat with the owner. Turns out the secret to the deliciousness is that after the owner slices each piece of meat herself, and adds her personal cooking method, plus her own marinade, it's then put on the grill. (Did you think I was going to reveal the secret? Nope!) Grilling over high heat releases an irresistible aroma. It's tender when you eat it, so even elders can swallow it without difficulty. Although there are three side dishes, the portions are also substantial. I didn't eat the spicy radish (too spicy). Even though I gave all the spicy radish to my husband, the spicy flavor still lingered where it touched the vegetables and rice.
