Don't Throw Away Broken Umbrellas Yet! Exchange 1 Umbrella for 1 Bottle of Dish Soap Before 10/31
Don't rush to throw away your broken old umbrellas at home! From October 1st to 31st, the Hsinchu City Government is holding a recycling event for metal frames of discarded umbrellas. As long as citizens disassemble their old umbrellas and bring them to the Environmental Protection Bureau, they can receive one free bottle of dish soap for each umbrella recycled! Additionally, a recycling drive for old mobile phones is being held concurrently, offering kitchen paper towels and a chance to win an iPhone 17. Seize this opportunity to sort through your household waste. To promote resource circulation, the city government reminds everyone that damaged discarded umbrellas can be disassembled and recycled. At home, citizens only need to follow two steps: 'disassemble and separate.' First, cut along the seams to remove the umbrella fabric, which should be sorted as general waste. The separated metal umbrella frame is a recyclable material. During the event period, bring the disassembled metal umbrella frame to the Environmental Protection Bureau, and you can exchange each one for a bottle of 'Clean Sea' dish soap (500g). Each person is limited to 2 bottles, and the event will end once supplies run out. The recycling location is on the 6th floor of the Hsinchu City Environmental Protection Bureau (No. 240, Haibin Road, North District). The exchange hours are during weekday business hours (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) until October 31st. If you lack tools at home, the Environmental Protection Bureau has tools available for public use for disassembly. Resident Ms. Liu shared that she found two broken umbrellas and an old mobile phone while tidying her home. Taking them for recycling not only earned her dish soap and paper towels but also allowed for resource reuse, which she found very practical.

Your willingness to dismantle discarded items shows a keen sense for resource recycling. This meticulous approach is truly impressive. (Observing)... Hmm, In-a-In's elegance gets a 65!
