Made $50 from recycling
I hauled my accumulated plastic bottles and cardboard boxes to the recycling center. Watching the numbers appear on the scale and exchanging them for crisp bills and coins filled me with a sense of accomplishment. It not only cleared up space in my home, making it tidier, but also felt like turning everyday waste into a small, unexpected surprise. Holding this 'pocket money' earned through my own efforts, I could buy a cold drink or a snack, and that simple, eco-friendly sense of achievement brought a slight smile to my face!
