Artist: T.M.Revolution Song Title: HEARTOFSWORD~Before the Dawn~ Lyrics: Akihiro Inoue Composition: Daisuke Asakura Release Date: November 11, 1996 Included Single: HEARTOFSWORD~Before the Dawn~ Lyrics Translation: https://www.marumaru-x.com/japanese-song/play-60rmx43npz Actually, I'm a viewer of the new Rurouni Kenshin series. I accidentally heard this song on another forum. It's the third ending theme from the old Rurouni Kenshin (るろうに剣心-明治剣客浪漫譚-) and it was stunning. If you're familiar with the 'Kyoto Arc' story, you'll understand that 'HEARTOFSWORD' literally translates to 'Kenshin', and the lyrics describe Kenshin's state of mind as he heads to Kyoto. The new series' ending theme, 'Water Light Meets the Sky' (likely intentionally designed), describes the feelings of Kaoru, who remains in Tokyo. These two ending themes, separated by 27 years, echo each other, and listening to them is very moving. Additional Info: T.M.Revolution, abbreviated as T.M.R., is a solo project by Japanese singer Takanori Nishikawa. Known for their electronic rock sound, Nishikawa's signature powerful vocals, and avant-garde stage costumes, you gotta check out the 'Nishikawa Lord'.
