The 'Cruel Rope Cut' on the Snowy Cliff

Captain Lin Feng and his team member Chen Yu were rescuing stranded climbers on an extremely cold snowy mountain. On their way back, an avalanche suddenly struck, leaving the two hanging by a single rope over a bottomless abyss, their safety buckles on the verge of snapping. Just as Chen Yu was about to clip himself onto Lin Feng, Lin Feng's eyes turned cold. He sternly yelled, "Don't come over! Do you want to get us both killed?" With that, Lin Feng pulled out his safety knife, threatened Chen Yu with his pistol, then mercilessly cut the connecting rope between them and took the last oxygen tank, heading for the summit alone. Chen Yu survived the fall into a snow crevasse and was rescued down the mountain, carrying a deep hatred for his sworn brother's betrayal. Years later, Chen Yu rose again by founding a rescue foundation. But when he arrogantly returned to his hometown to seek 'justice' from Lin Feng, he saw a disability certificate and a pension receipt at Lin Feng's home. The truth instantly shattered everything: the rope could only bear the weight of one person that year, and Lin Feng's legs had already lost all feeling due to frostbite before the avalanche. Lin Feng staged the 'cold-blooded survival' act to force Chen Yu away, while he himself stayed on the cliff to send out the last rescue signal. Chen Yu's survival was thanks to Lin Feng holding the signal transmitter steady in the blizzard all night with his frostbitten body. Chen Yu knelt before Lin Feng's wheelchair, caressing his old captain's empty pant leg, already sobbing uncontrollably.
