Work Interruption: Sami's Authoritative 'No Work' Ultimatum

Afternoon sunlight filters through the gaps in the curtains, illuminating the wooden desk cluttered with succulents. I was working on my laptop, and the notebook beside it was filled with drafts. However, my lovely daily routine has been forcibly put on pause. The culprit is Sami. This little creature with snow-white floppy ears and orange and white fur is now brazenly sprawled across my keyboard. She tilts her head slightly, casting a sidelong glance at me with her amber eyes, her tail occasionally sweeping across the mousepad with an air of extreme arrogance. Her 'no work' gaze perfectly captures Sami's bossy intentions at this moment. Not only does she hog my computer, but she also presses her face against the edge of the screen, as if complaining, 'Isn't petting me more important than a meeting?' What's more, her paws are righteously placed on the keys, successfully typing out a string of gibberish for me. When I try to reach over and press a key, she rubs my palm with her fluffy head, or simply lies down, exposing her soft belly. Looking at her long, floppy ears that twitch slightly with her breathing, the initial impatience instantly vanishes. All that's left in my heart is the helpless affection of being 'interrupted from work.' 'Alright, alright, you win.' I pick up the still-steaming coffee cup beside me, laughing helplessly as I put aside my work. This cozy logbook's entry for today won't record work progress, but will instead be entirely occupied by this 'little rascal' Sami. After all, who can refuse such a warm and soft 'no work' ultimatum? Fine~ I guess I'll have to put down my work and have some quality snuggle time with Sami 🥰
