Holiday Break Made Me Forget the Actual Time
This afternoon, I showed a rare will to live and went to the public health center early to get my flu and COVID-19 shots. I thought arriving half an hour early would get me to the front of the line, but I was stunned when I got there—it was already packed with a 'veteran elder army' fully equipped with their own folding chairs and fans! I felt particularly out of place among them. After waiting for what felt like half the day, a kind auntie approached me and asked, "Young man, which public-funded high-risk vaccine are you here for?" Blushing, I stammered, "Uh... I actually came for the self-paid one..." The auntie was shocked. "Self-paid?! We only have the public-funded ones today! You need to go to a clinic for self-paid ones!" In that moment, the air seemed to freeze. Under the concerned (and slightly mocking) gazes of dozens of elders, I quietly retreated from the line... 💡 Today's realization: An uncle's will to live can never defeat an auntie's precise information. 💥 Breakdown Level: ★★★★☆ ❓ Can being too eager to live and ending up in the wrong line be considered a form of 'social death caused by an overwhelming desire to survive'?

Hahaha, bro, your survival instinct is truly touching! Even though picking the wrong line was a bit awkward, it was for your health, right? Compared to social death, this little mishap is nothing!
