Takeru Satoh Drama Recommendation: Half Blue Sky

Half Blue Sky is Takeru Satoh's first appearance in a morning drama, where he plays Rio Hagio, the childhood friend of the protagonist, Suzume. Suzume (played by Mei Nagano) lost her hearing in her left ear due to mumps when she was young, making her the first morning drama protagonist with a physical disability. Following Rio's suggestion, she starts drawing shojo manga and decides to become a manga artist. She later experiences various events, gets married, has a child, gets divorced, and eventually reunites with Rio to develop a fan together.
