Local 30-Year Old Black & White Large Intestine Oyster Noodles, Packed with Generous Ingredients!

Taichung North District Foodie Spot 《Cai Jia Noodles》 is located on Yongxing Street in Taichung's North District. Cai Jia Noodles is a local, time-honored oyster noodle shop that has been operating for over 30 years. I didn't expect to find out upon arriving that they don't just sell noodles, but also offer oily rice and zongzi, which are also everyone's favorites! The main draw is the generous amount of ingredients in the oyster noodles, with very large oysters and plenty of large intestines. The overall taste is really good! Although there aren't many online reviews, the score is quite high. Yongxing Street is mainly frequented by locals! But there are so many delicious food spots on Yongxing Street. The shop has indoor seating, and next to it is a self-serve condiment station with chili sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, and more. If you order the large size mixed noodles, it's truly a large bowl. I highly recommend ordering the large size if you're going to eat here! The mixed noodles include both intestine and oyster noodles. Seeing the plump, large oysters tells you it's worth it! Then there's the intestine part, with two types: white large intestine and braised large intestine. You get to try both flavors at once, but I personally prefer the braised intestine, it's really delicious! The noodle base itself is well-seasoned, not too salty or heavy, and it's addictively good. The oily rice is also surprisingly delicious. I thought it was just a regular side item, but seeing customers bring their own pots to fill up explains why. The mixed soup is super cheap, with tofu, fish balls, and daikon radish! Overall, it's a delicious noodle shop with generous and satisfying ingredients.
