Takeru Satoh Drama Recommendation: Bitter Blood Father-Son Detectives

This is a lighthearted detective drama adapted from a novel of the same name. Takeru Satoh plays the rookie detective Natsuki Sahra, and Atsuro Watabe plays his father, Akimura Shimao, who is also a detective. The two are assigned to the same detective unit at Ginza Police Station as partners! Due to issues from his childhood when his parents separated, Natsuki and Akimura initially have a strained relationship, but they rebuild their father-son bond while investigating cases together. Each episode features a different case, and the interactions between the father and son are very amusing. The theme song 'Do You Ever Shine?' is by the Taiwanese band Mayday!
