First time trying Sao Paulo Q Cake
It seems quite famous, but I'd never tried it before. My relatives gave me a piece during the Mid-Autumn Festival, so I had the chance to try it. Just looking at this beautiful cross-section, you know it can't be bad😍. One bite and I understood why it's famous – the pork floss, salted egg yolk, mochi, and red bean paste are all perfectly balanced! The packaging said it's even better when toasted, but unfortunately, I don't have an oven. It was already delicious just as it is, so toasting it must be even more amazing🤤! I don't usually actively buy pastries, but this is the kind of thing I'd consider buying a box of to eat😂.

No oven? No problem! You can use a rice cooker without adding water, just press the button. Once it pops, wait a bit and you can eat it – it's just like oven-baked. If you don't even have a rice cooker, you can use a frying pan, preferably a flat-bottomed one. Put it in the pan and heat it slowly on low heat. As long as you can touch it without it being too hot, it'll have the same effect as an oven.
