Did my comment get eaten?

As the title says, I've been having issues lately where I get notifications for comments but can't find them when I click in. Did the other person delete their comment? Or did the system eat it? 😂😂😂 It's not within the 'view previous comments' section. Sometimes I can't find it even if there are only a few comments. But sometimes it doesn't seem like a comment that needs deleting, and this has happened more than once, with comments from different people. Or is there a new feature I can't see because I haven't updated my app? 🤔
