I have a question about renting 🥹 I'm recently helping my dad find a place to rent. He's 58 years old. When I inquired about one place, as soon as they heard his age, they directly said the landlord doesn't rent to people his age. For another place, they first asked about my dad's job and age, and even requested his business card. I understand that part, but later they said I needed to send photos to the owner first. Only if the owner found him suitable would they arrange a viewing 😂 The final response was: 'My dad doesn't fit the owner's 'visuals' 🥲 I'm wondering, do landlords really care that much about a tenant's age when renting out properties these days? I'm curious if anyone else has encountered similar situations.
