My cat totally got me today, is this common for you guys?

I had a moment today while working remotely that was both frustrating and hilarious. I was in the middle of typing a super urgent report, my fingers flying across the keyboard, when my British Shorthair cat (named 'Pudding') suddenly jumped onto my desk. First, it started rubbing its head against my wrist. When I didn't react, it literally plopped down right on the keyboard in front of me! The screen froze for a second, and then a long string of 'kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk……' appeared. To make matters worse, it stretched out and its paw accidentally hit a shortcut, deleting the entire paragraph I had just written! I was completely stunned and turned to look at it. But instead of looking guilty, it squinted its eyes, started purring, and rolled over to show its belly, asking for pets. It was like it was saying, 'Am I more important than work?' In the end, I had to pet its belly with my right hand while awkwardly hitting Ctrl + Z with my left to recover the text. Even though my progress was interrupted, I couldn't stay mad looking at its innocent face. Do your furry friends ever interfere with your work like this? Or is my cat just particularly bold? Help me out!
