The Clumsy Substitute and the Stern Boss

As Bellaqi, the substitute Meng Po, her least favorite thing was following the script. Seeing the sorrowful faces of the ghosts queuing up for reincarnation, she took it upon herself to replace the bitter water of forgetfulness with sweet, rich hot chocolate, even adding a sprinkle of marshmallows. "Drink up! Life's been tough enough, the last moment should be sweet!" Bellaqi said with a smile to an old lady. Just as the old lady was about to take a sip, moved to tears, a sudden gust of wind swept through. A well-maintained hand, adorned with a jade bracelet, snatched the cup away. "Bel, la, qi——!" The familiar roar made Bellaqi shiver. Turning around, she saw the real Meng Po had cut her vacation short and was standing behind her, face ashen. "What, in the few days I've been gone, have you turned the Bridge of Helplessness into a hipster cafe?" Meng Po's temples throbbed as she looked at the pot of "Meng Po's Soup" emitting a chocolate aroma. Bellaqi guiltily hunched her shoulders, twisting her fingers and mumbling, "Boss... this, this can ease pre-reincarnation anxiety..." Meng Po sighed helplessly, snatched the ladle, and skillfully used magic to turn the hot chocolate back into the clear water of forgetfulness. She glared at Bellaqi, "Hurry up and go wash the dishes! If the ghosts reincarnate with memories of their past lives and cause chaos in the human world, can you afford to pay for it?" Bellaqi stuck out her tongue and quickly slipped backstage. Although she was scolded, seeing the old lady walk onto the Bridge of Helplessness with a smile, she secretly thought her "clumsy special blend" wasn't too bad after all.
