Beginner: Realize that what the six senses perceive is not true, that all you see is an illusion, and that what you see is not habitual or real. Thus, one cultivates to 'enter the stream.' 'Entering the stream' is like ice melting. The solid phenomena (all phenomena) of the world, body, and mind that are mistakenly believed to be real must be cultivated until they completely melt like ice into water. Intermediate: Even though dissolved into water, do not cling to it. Gradually enter the state of non-duality, where there is no longer any distinction. Ultimate: The world, body, and mind are all luminous, with nothing left. The supernatural powers and wisdom of all Tathagatas naturally manifest. (The true wisdom of the Tathagata is not attained through learning, but when you awaken and cultivate to the state where the world, body, and mind are all luminous and nothing is left, the supernatural powers and wisdom of the Tathagata will appear before you, ready for your use.) The knowledge taught by the current world strengthens and solidifies your perception that all phenomena in the world are real. It is best to break free from it yourself. At the very least, what current astronomy and science teach you is this: Looking broadly, all celestial bodies in the universe are like dust. Looking narrowly, scientific research shows that the perceived world is composed of electrons, protons, neutrons, and wave-particle duality. But you feel the omnipresence of emptiness, and that all phenomena are made of infinitesimal particles???
