SCP-131-Eye Pods

Designation: SCP-131 Class: Safe Special Containment Procedures: SCP-131-A and SCP-131-B require no special containment procedures. The subjects may move freely within Site-19, provided they do not attempt to enter any restricted areas or leave the facility. The subjects are permitted to interact freely with personnel, though reduced interaction is advised due to the potential for personnel to develop emotional attachments to the subjects. The subjects are to be located once per hour; failure to locate the subjects will result in a Level 1 lockdown alert for the facility. Description: SCP-131-A and SCP-131-B (collectively nicknamed "Eye Pods") are a pair of anomalous, teardrop-shaped organisms approximately thirty centimeters (one foot) in height, each possessing a single blue eye in the center of its body. SCP-131-A is orange in color, while SCP-131-B is mustard yellow. Both subjects possess a wheel-like appendage on their undersides that allows them to move at high speeds, suggesting that the subjects' evolution should be biomechanically sound. The subjects are capable of moving at high speeds, covering sixty meters (two hundred yards) in mere seconds. However, the subjects lack the ability to stop, often resulting in a number of unfortunate, or overly amusing, incidents for the subjects. The subjects have also demonstrated the ability to climb vertical surfaces, and have gotten lost within ventilation shafts on more than one occasion.
