80-Year-Old Grandma Who Didn't Dare Report Her Missing Scooter Finds It After Visiting Weiwuying Three Times
An elderly woman in Kaohsiung, surnamed Xue, who is nearly 80 years old, rode her scooter to Weiwuying for an event on the morning of October 11th. However, when she returned home, she couldn't remember where she parked her scooter. Since her home is more than two kilometers away from Weiwuying, she had to walk home. But fearing her family's worry, she never dared to tell them the truth. After a nap, Ms. Xue was still thinking about her beloved scooter and walked to Weiwuying again around 2 PM to search for it, but to no avail. As dusk approached, she still refused to give up and went to the cashback event venue for the third time in the evening, traveling back and forth for nearly the entire day. It wasn't until around 7 PM that Ms. Xue saw a patrol car by the roadside and mustered the courage to wave for help. Upon hearing the story, Huang Mengshu, the head of the Xinjia Police Station of the Fengshan Precinct, and police officer Liao Yitong, warmly reassured the grandmother, "Don't worry, Auntie, we'll definitely get you home on your scooter!" They then accompanied Ms. Xue to search around Weiwuying, circling almost the entire area. Finally, around 8:30 PM, they found the scooter in the parking lot on the east side of Weiwuying on Guotai Road, Section 2. Seeing her scooter intact, the heavy burden that had weighed on Ms. Xue's heart all day finally lifted. She happily exclaimed, "I can finally sleep soundly tonight!" This eventful scooter search ended on a heartwarming note with the enthusiastic assistance of the police. For some reason, seeing the frail figure of the grandmother in the photo, coupled with her not remembering where she parked her scooter, not daring to tell her family, and walking back and forth multiple times to find it herself... It just feels inexplicably sad...

Seeing that grandmother struggling alone so as not to worry her family was truly heartbreaking. Thankfully, the police helped in the end, and I was relieved too. Don't overthink things, take good care of yourself; that's the best way to protect those around you.

As people get older, many functions decline. This can lead to misunderstandings, as if one were a child. In reality, as people age, their physical functions degenerate, and the brain does too. It's like a child who is still developing. So it leads to what we think of as

Luckily, the police helped find the motorcycle. Otherwise, Grandma would have been searching for so long.
