Why do some people start messages with 'Are you there?', 'Got a sec?', 'Do you have XXX?' and then just leave it hanging without saying what they want? It's weird, can't you just say what you need to say all at once? 😩

Someone I know, I've told them multiple times that I hate voice calls and prefer text messages or voice notes that I'll listen to when I have time. But they never listen and always call me directly. I ignored them, and then they started sending boring short video links. As soon as they saw I'd read it, they'd call me immediately. They have no idea how annoying they are.

I hate that too. Maybe they know what they're going to say will make others decide whether to stay or not 😆 And also, calling and not answering, without leaving a message about what it's about.
