Here's my secret. I hoard a bunch of ingredients, usually level 7 to 8, and then complete 'Prep Time' all at once. Each completed ingredient accumulates, and once full, it provides the ingredients needed for the current prep time. You can keep doing this in rotation. If you accumulate enough ingredients, like I did above, you can get 2 to 3 of each type at level 7. Then, as shown in the picture, I went from level 52 straight to 56, using power from various events, about 1000 power worth. Out of all the merge games I've played, I quite like this one. It's more fun, and you can actually see the progress in leveling up, it doesn't feel like it's never-ending. Some games feel like they're never-ending, like 'tasty travel', that's a standard never-ending one.
