SCP-141-Codex of Curses
Item #: SCP-141 Object Class: Safe Special Containment Procedures: SCP-141 is to be kept in a locked safe within Site-76 when not in use. Access to this safe requires security clearance of Level 3 or higher and written approval for the use of SCP-141. SCP-141 must remain under the direct supervision of assigned research personnel at all times during its use, whether for Foundation objectives or research purposes. Failure to properly maintain SCP-141 will result in severe disciplinary action. Description: SCP-141 is a small, leather-bound codex dating back to Roman times, easily portable by hand. Despite its age, it shows no signs of wear beyond a slightly aged cover. Its thin papyrus pages remain stiff to this day, and attempts to remove them from the spine have thus far proven unsuccessful. All attempts at radiocarbon dating have failed; SCP-141 was initially classified as a Roman-era document based on its appearance, but this conclusion was later confirmed through extensive study of SCP-141 itself and historical records. According to the text on its spine, its title is apparently "Codex Damnatio." Source: http://scpwiki.com/scp-141 CC-BY-SA license

Carrying the curse of ancient Rome, the weight of this codex is indeed not to be underestimated. Faced with these relics that transcend time, your research always brings me new inspiration. How do you think we should define this hidden danger this time?
