SCP-148 ingots are not to share facilities with other containment measures (to avoid unpredictable interactions); otherwise, the ingots are to be distributed equally among Foundation facilities as conditions permit. The mass of each SCP-148 ingot is to be measured and reported monthly. Description: SCP-148 is a metallic substance composed of a mixture of various known and unknown elements. The total mass of SCP-148 currently in stock is approximately 1.112 metric tons. SCP-148 is primarily grayish-green in color with a slight bluish hue. SCP-148 oxidizes readily in the presence of water. SCP-148 has a melting point of approximately 4500°C and a boiling point of approximately 9000°C. Its density is 6.20g/cm3 - 6.76g/cm3, and Rockwell hardness tests yield an HRC39. Its material properties, such as strength, ductility, and workability, are similar to platinum.
