Rays Succeed!

Congrats to the Rays for making it to the World Series! They're back in the World Series after 2020, so strong!~~~~ Of course, what I remember most vividly is the Rays' stunning World Series appearance in 2008. They eventually lost to the Phillies, but that final championship moment was used in ESPN commercials for years. Brad Lidge's final strikeout, paired with announcer Chang Fu-ning's excited voice, still rings in my ears. The Rays' 2020 World Series appearance was during the pandemic year. They lost to the Dodgers at the end of that year. Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell were still on the team then, along with the amazing Randy Arozarena who kept hitting home runs. Choi Ji-man from Korea played first base and could do the splits. Watching MLB was one of the few comforts during those tough times. Thinking about it now, time really flies. I'm really happy that this World Series will be contested by two teams that have never won a championship, the Brewers and the Rays. Both teams were the best in their respective leagues, so calling it 'strongest vs. strongest' is absolutely accurate. Congratulations to the Rays! I'm happy whoever wins. Let's have an exciting World Series! Congrats to the Rays~
