After Transmigration, I Became a God Through Plunder --- Chapter 22, New Dishes at the Academy Cafeteria (6)

I've had enough of that beast meat! I want to eat gourmet food, at least something that's been seasoned to remove the gamey taste. So I went into seclusion for three days, sorted out the materials I could currently obtain, and combined them with cooking methods for beast meat. I then made an official announcement. Starting today, the academy cafeteria will offer limited quantities of crispy pork lard, spicy grilled skewers, salt and pepper pork strips, and rich pork bone broth, in addition to boiled beast meat. For the spicy grilled skewers, pork is cut into appropriate sizes, skewered, and grilled. During grilling, it's brushed with lard and sprinkled with a mixture of ground dried chili, Sichuan peppercorns, and salt. The salt and pepper pork strips involve cutting pork into long strips, coating them with sweet potato starch, frying them in lard until golden brown, and then generously sprinkling them with the Sichuan peppercorn and salt mixture while hot. The rich pork bone broth is even simpler: blanch and clean the pork bones, then put them in cold water and bring to a boil over high heat. Simmer over low heat for eight hours until the broth turns milky white, then season with salt and cilantro. Fortunately, due to the spiritual energy in this world, the meat isn't too gamey. Otherwise, it would be hard to stomach without alcohol to remove the smell. What? I didn't get Shen Wansan's wine? Come on, if I used that up, what would I have for myself later? Also, due to limited ingredients, the number of new and improved dishes is very small. And after some time, I realized that students could barely buy any because the staff and teachers snapped them up first. There's nothing I can do about that. When students finish class depends on the teacher, and usually, by the time students are done, the staff and teachers are already queuing at the cafeteria.
