This might be a bit of an unusual post, but I hope you'll forgive me this time 🥲 Do any of you know Maru, the famous cat from YouTube? He's a Scottish Fold boy who appeared in commercials and was chosen as the #1 cat on YouTube multiple times, even making it into the hall of fame. He later made friends and lived a relaxed, happy life… but he actually passed away a year ago at the age of 18. He had lung adenocarcinoma. And recently, to commemorate Maru's first anniversary, his owner posted a video summarizing memories called "Things I'd do if I could meet Maru for just one day." The video shows past scenes of Maru along with a list of "things to do"… Even though it's just a video of Maru's leisurely daily life with a few subtitles and quiet music, I couldn't help but cry while watching it… And the final message really conveyed the owner's unchanging love for Maru… 😭 If you have a moment, please check it out m(_ _)m https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2qzyIWXC_do

This is a 2-year-old ginger tabby cat that was officially adopted 3 months ago, and I started practicing holding her this month. When she seems to be in a good mood, I scoop her up from behind and have her sit on my lap for just a moment. Recently, she's been staying on my lap for longer periods, so today I decided to try trimming her nails while she was there. As a result, she started struggling halfway through and ran away...🥲︎ But I managed to trim all the nails on her left front paw and 3 on her right front paw! I'm happy about this progress. The photo shows her cuddling with the resident calico cat (9 years old) after running away. (By the way, she's started running away whenever she sees me 😭 Sorry! 😭)
