Here comes Maru, the stray cat, asking for food! He started coming around here in early spring. At first, he was getting food from the lady on the first floor, but now there are food bowls placed in front of the entrances of about 5 houses, and he just eats wherever he pleases. Someone asked if I could take him in, but with a house full of cats – including a perpetually needy, spoiled, attention-seeking kitten and several adult cats – it's just not possible 😣 If only Maru were a kitten...

For those who read my last post, you'll know about Watson, the former stray cat my mother had when she was a child! (Nickname: Wato. This is the only photo I have, so I used it again. Sorry!) This Wato had a clingy side (most cats do, right?). When lonely, he would apparently cry "Fuu, nyaa" continuously. I'm not sure where the "Fuu" sound came from... So, Wato would start moving after everyone else had gone to sleep at night... This caused trouble in the winter... Wato was smart enough to open sliding doors by himself. And he'd go exploring everyone's sleeping spots. For some reason, my mother would wake up to the sound of Wato's "Totto-totto-totto" footsteps. But it was still the middle of the night, and just as she was trying to fall back asleep, Wato would suddenly press his nose against her cheek. In winter, she'd exclaim "So cold!" and be completely awake. When she opened up the futon saying "Wanna come in?", Wato would jump right in. Apart from the nose-nuzzling... I'm jealous! Then came the morning. My mother's alarm clock wasn't a bell, but a cat's meow. "Nya-nya-nya-nyaaan!" Wato would bolt away at the sound. Seeing this, my mother could only laugh.

As soon as I put a bag on the floor, my cat jumps right in. And then stays there for ages ☺️ This is a picture of its face right before it yawned.

Hello. I don't own a cat, but I joined because I love cats. I think this cat was a stray at a shrine, and it approached me on its own, probably because it's used to people. Because it was at a shrine and its color looked yellowish, I almost mistook it for a fox lol

Neither of them will look me in the eye lol. Still, cats are such cute creatures. So unfair!

It's 20°C, and as usual, it's starting out cloudy again today~ The rain was on and off. After having a yawning festival because they were sleepy, the hunter rolled around on the backrest of the futon. Their belly fat was free for the petting. Looking forward to today!

This is my alarm cat that wakes me up around 4 AM every morning. Today, it woke me up a little before 4 AM, begging for food. It licks my face, but I think it doesn't know its strength, so it hurts, but I'm happy. I haven't woken up to anything specific, but I'm happy.

This is the calico cat (stray) I filmed in the past and posted a little while ago. She had a beautiful face and was a smart kitty (*´ー｀*)b✨ It's a photo that looks like she knows she's cute. Mom and I were watching a cat show, and they featured a cat island. I'd love to go there, the strays looked so happy…. The two little kittens (maybe siblings?) were also cute and funny. Older Brother: "You have to wash your hands after touching them, okay?" (Younger Brother feeding kibble to a cat, the cat doesn't eat) Older Brother: "You have to put it on your hand and feed it." (Younger Brother trying to feed the cat by putting it on its paw) Me and Mom: "Σ(´∀｀；)(￣□￣;)!!?" After that, when he said "wash your hands," he was holding the cat, so I guess he probably meant he was going to wash the cat's paws (*´ー｀*)💧
