Is this trivia true or false?

The reason bird leg joints bend in the opposite direction to humans is because they have more joints. True or false? The answer is below 👇️ A. This is false. What we normally see as a bird's leg is actually its "shin" and "ankle" below the knee. The "femur," which corresponds to the human thigh, is completely buried within its feathers and belly fat, making it invisible from the outside. The joint that appears on the outside is not the knee, but the "heel." If you were to compare it to a human, it would be like living your life constantly on tiptoes in a deep squat (crouched with legs inward). It's believed that the skeletal structure evolved to reduce air resistance during flight and efficiently absorb the intense impact of landing with the knee, by keeping the thigh close to the body and fixed. I've written this carefully, but I will correct any misinformation. I'm also posting other trivia, so please check it out if you're interested.
