Cheap!
I was busy so I went to the supermarket's bento section for dinner. Katsudon for 277 yen (300 yen with tax), Nori-bento for 215 yen (233 yen with tax). With the rising prices, being able to eat my fill at this price! It's a lifesaver 🤤 I added natto and instant miso soup and was super satisfied 🥰

Morning: Rushed, so just one Tirol Choco. Noon: Used frozen udon for cold udon (toppings: cucumber, crab sticks, sweet corn with sesame dressing). Night: Ginger pork rice bowl... that was it!

For lunch today, I used some thinly sliced beef that was half-price at the supermarket and made a mixed rice dish. First, I cooked the beef. Next, I mixed it with rice, frozen spinach, and mixed vegetables. Then, I added yakiniku sauce and garlic paste, stirring and stir-frying. Once done stir-frying, I plated it, and it was complete! It was delicious with a strong garlic flavor😋

It's been a while, but today's snack was taiyaki. My uncle apparently went to a city even further than the next one to buy taiyaki because he wanted some, and I got one from him. Why he went that far just for taiyaki is a mystery.

For lunch today, I had cold ramen and a fried chicken skewer from 7-Eleven 😊 They're having a 30 yen off sale right now, so I couldn't resist and bought one.

Today's Beef Pepper Rice
My condition wasn't great yesterday either, so I made Beef Pepper Rice using the rice cooker's auto-cook function! Beef scraps, shimeji mushrooms, maitake mushrooms, onion, paprika (all from the freezer) Seasoning: consommé, pepper, garlic tube, ginger tube, butter Since it was frozen, it released a lot of water, so I slightly reduced the water for the rice cooker (I've failed many times 😂 lol), but this time it was a success! For the finish, I topped it with cheese and sprinkled black pepper and basil before eating 🙌 It was very satisfying and delicious ☺︎
