今日、なに食べた？

Tuna collar grilled with ginger-soy sauce, served on thinly sliced grilled eggplant. Simmered pumpkin, and miso soup with bean sprouts and fried tofu.

Trial's cream puff. It's full of cream and delicious.

I was planning to eat the Steak Whopper during Silver Week, but it had been replaced with the Mushroom Whopper. So, I had the Mushroom Whopper set for lunch. It was a bummer that they didn't have orange juice for the drink.

I ate Joyfull's Pepper Hamburg Steak. It came with a 40-day free pass and a drink bar too.

I made fried rice for lunch today! Big portions of fried rice are the best, lol

For lunch, I made sweet potato rice and simmered dried daikon radish~ Since the menu is mostly decided based on my parents' requests, we have a lot of Japanese dishes with simmered ingredients. I also froze some of the dried daikon radish.

Felt like autumn... so I bought 2 onigiri. Matsutake mushroom and chestnut autumn rice... it got all crushed in my bag and the rice grains scattered 😅 I always seem to crush these types of packaged onigiri 🫣

It's getting a bit chilly lately, so I made oden!

For our second cake, the shop we usually go to was apparently closed, so we tried a new place. Lemon Tart and Cream Coffee Brulee. My husband had the Lemon Tart, and I had the Cream Coffee Brulee. The Lemon Tart had a slight bitterness from the lemon peel, the fresh cream was elegant, and the tart base was a little moist. The Cream Coffee Brulee came with unsweetened coffee jelly on the side, and fresh cream piped on top. We got to taste both the brulee and the coffee brulee flavors. It was fluffy and melted in my mouth! It was our first time at this shop, but we'll definitely be back☺︎
