I posted about this before, but tonight it's cup ramenアレンジ (arrangement) again 😋 I was really tired today, so I kept it super simple (though last time was pretty simple too) I topped it with stir-fried pork shoulder and mixed vegetables, seasoned with grated garlic & ginger, doubanjiang, and finished with sesame oil, then sprinkled with chopped green onions. Done! 🍜 It turned out more voluminous than planned, but that's okay. It's an excuse because I've barely consumed any calories today... The second pic is the base ingredients for the ramen bowl 🤣 It's in the back of the first pic, but I wanted to show it off. Everything except the pork and seasonings was bought just a little while ago.

I moved from a landlocked prefecture to the seaside due to a personnel change last year, and I have to say, sashimi is definitely tastier near the ocean! I'm really looking forward to it as it's getting to be the season for delicious seafood ♪

I went to Namba Niku Gekijo in Nihonbashi, Osaka. It comes with three types of meat: skirt steak, kalbi, and seseri (chicken neck), all topped with a sweet and spicy soy sauce. You can also choose your spice level, so it's perfectly customizable. Personally, I found the seseri to be exceptionally delicious. It was so juicy, you wouldn't believe it was chicken, and the charcoal-grilled aroma was fantastic. While waiting at the counter, watching them cook it flamboyantly over roaring flames was quite a spectacle. It also comes with a complimentary coleslaw (not pictured), egg soup, and bean sprout namul. The bean sprout namul is refillable. There's also a wide variety of tabletop seasonings, including curry spice, so you can enjoy it without getting tired of the flavor. It was also satisfyingly filling. If you're ever in Namba, I highly recommend checking it out.

I went to Okamoto Shoyu Noodle. The soup is a light broth with a strong anchovy flavor, but it was so delicious I forgot about getting extra noodles and drank about half of it. Since they make their own noodles, the noodles are also the best. They're chewy and have a great wheat aroma. There are 3 types of chashu, but personally, the chicken chashu is amazing. It's moist, light, yet juicy and springy. The fried chicken is also top-tier for ramen shop fried chicken!

On Saturday evening, I finally went back to my favorite bakery after not being able to visit for a while. It was a shame that there weren't many types of bread displayed, possibly because it was Sunday evening and the next day was a holiday, and my absolute favorite bread was gone. However, I was still able to buy the breads I love, so it's all good 🙆 The photos are of the treats I had after getting home. In the front left is the shio pan (salt bread), next to it is the almond croissant, and in the back is the sweet potato croissant 😊 This bakery's shio pan has a fluffy, chewy texture and is truly delicious. Plus, it's cheap 🤣 As for the almond croissants, perhaps because they're made with croissant dough, they have a crispy texture with a moderate saltiness and the aroma of butter filling your mouth. On top of that, the generous amount of almond cream and sweet potato filling blend perfectly, making them a blissful bread 🥐 I also bought a regular sliced campagne and a small campagne with cream cheese and blueberries, so I might have them for breakfast tomorrow 🤤 This bakery's campagne also has a great wheat aroma, which is the best. I might toast it and eat it with some Nagano Purple jam I received as a gift and butter 🤔

Morning Doria set for 590 yen. Happy that it comes with a drink bar too. The place is called Olive no Oka!

This is from the end of August when I went to university and worked as a seller at the university festival to sell the snacks we all came up with. This whole thing was 600 yen, and my friend and I split it and ate a lot (*^^*) It rained, but selling was fun too!

Went to karaoke with my friend today! After singing a ton together, we ordered these fries and fried chicken 😊 I absolutely love fries, and the ones here were super crispy… the fried chicken was juicy too, and it was so delicious! But sadly, my friend took most of the fries lol The price was also really reasonable, so I thought I'd want to eat here again! Next time, I'm gonna eat more of it…🥰️

Here's my lunch for today (Chicken steak with just some ume on top)

It was more like dinner. I transferred instant ramen into a ramen bowl, stir-fried some white leeks with doubanjiang, and topped it with kimchi. I should have added an egg too. I put it in a bowl to lift my spirits, but I left it too long and the noodles got soggy…. I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to go out for a good meal.
