ドラマが好き！

A drama series starring various Johnny's idols throughout history, including TV specials and remakes. Among them, I personally love the first series starring Tsuyoshi Domoto the most! He's usually a somewhat unreliable, underachieving, and a bit perverted high school boy. But when a case occurs, his demeanor completely changes. I think that duality is what most closely resembles the original character. His habit of scratching his head is so natural, it's hard to tell if it's inherent or acting.

Just found out they're streaming 200 classic masterpieces, and I was like, 'Huh?!' while watching, and 'I Have No Money!!' is there! It's a drama starring Yuji Oda, a success story like Michael J. Fox's 'Bright Lights, Big City'. I loved both of them so much, I'm so excited! (๑♡∀♡๑)

Many of you might already know, but VIVANT is a mystery/speculation drama!! However, it always goes beyond expectations, making it hard to guess. That's what makes it interesting!! You should watch it! Highly recommended!!

Has anyone else watched this drama? Given the subject matter, I don't think it gets re-aired very often 🤔 It's a story about the families of victims and perpetrators of a murder case. The cast was full of talented actors, and it was quite compelling. Especially the interactions between Shinobu Otake and Shunsuke Kazama were incredible. It really made me think, 'Shinobu Otake is amazing,' and at the same time, Shunsuke Kazama's performance, which didn't fall short, was also superb ✨ Overall, it's a drama that overwhelms you with the actors' performances. It's a heavy topic, so I can't wholeheartedly recommend it, but if you get the chance, please give it a watch.

《Asunaro Hakusho》 Starring: Hikari Ishida, Takuya Kimura, Hidetoshi Nishijima ~ Synopsis ~ A coming-of-age drama about five young men and women who meet through university entrance exams and enrollment, and grow while wavering between friendship and romance. ~ Thoughts ~ This is Asunaro Hakusho, famous for Takuya Kimura's 'Asunaro Hug'! The theme song 'TRUE LOVE' by Fumiya Fujii is also well-known. This masterpiece playing at the best moments of the drama is truly wonderful~

A school comedy drama starring Jin Akanishi Centered around Miroku Shotchikubai, whose father is the Superintendent-General of the Metropolitan Police Department, this is a fun story about six student council members, commonly known as the 'Idle Club,' who have too much status, power, and money, and get involved in solving problems both inside and outside the school. It's a self-contained story in each episode, making it very easy to watch, and the gag tempo is good, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a school drama without thinking too much. By the way, there's a little... slight romance element. Personally, I like the characters of Takeshi Kaga and Tsurutaro Kataoka, who play the fathers, more than the student council members. Incidentally, all the student council members are named after alcoholic beverages🍸️ I learned about the liqueur 'Grand Marnier' from this drama and was excited about when it might appear in Co〇an, but it probably won't😂 The theme song is KAT-TUN's 'Keep the faith.' I used to sing this a lot at karaoke back in the day lol It's a great song that lifts your spirits, so if you've never heard it, please check it out if you're interested.

This is a suuuuper old drama starring Etsushi Toyokawa and Takako Tokiwa 😅 It's a love story between Koji, a deaf male painter, and Hiroko, a carefree girl aiming to become an actress (who felt more like a girl than a woman at the time). Seriously, Etsushi Toyokawa is incredibly cool in this 😍 Compared to a young-looking Takako Tokiwa, Etsushi Toyokawa is the epitome of a mature man. The story is a classic romance. There are misunderstandings and complications due to Hiroko's immaturity (lol). The theme song is "LOVE LOVE LOVE" by Dreams Come True. It was a massive hit. The poignant lyrics really fit the drama perfectly ✨

Starring Issei Takahashi and Yukino Kishii. This is a story about a man and woman who are 'Aromantic Asexual,' meaning they don't experience romantic attraction or sexual desire. There was a scene in this drama that made me incredibly frustrated, and I still feel that way when I think about it. It's the scene where the woman, who Takahashi (played by Issei Takahashi) was vaguely dating in the past, offers him her hand to put on a family heirloom ring, which Takahashi's grandmother had given her saying, 'It will be yours someday.' Takahashi was dating her more for his grandmother's sake, but she seemed really excited. Why could she offer her hand with such confidence? Especially since Takahashi is aromantic and asexual, unable to even touch people, let alone engage in romantic relationships. Even if they were just vaguely dating, and he never even touched her, how could she be so confident just because she received a ring from his grandmother? He didn't propose to her or anything, right? I was so irritated with her. I thought, 'She doesn't understand him at all!' Ah, I've been feeling so bothered by this, but venting here made me feel a bit better (lol)

I'm really hooked on the confession scene in a recent drama. I'm looking forward to the finale, but I'm also a little sad it's ending.

A comedy gourmet drama starring Yutaka Matsushige. It's about salaryman Goro Inogashira going to restaurants for meals during business trips or after work, eating heartily, and narrating his inner monologue. It's a food-porn drama that's so captivating despite its simple premise. Plus, the main cast is basically just Yutaka Matsushige, which is hilarious lol Although the original manga was mostly one-shots, it has become a flagship drama for TV Tokyo, running for over 10 years. It's now synonymous with New Year's Eve, and I find myself rewatching it during breaks from holiday chores whenever it's rebroadcast. As a side note, it's said that this drama inspired the creation of 'solitary dining' restaurants in Korea, and Goro Inogashira is treated with a certain level of charisma there. Incidentally, the lead actor himself is a light eater, and it's famously known among fans that his 'complaints' increase with each season in a humorous way. His legendary press conference when the series was made into a movie, where he declared he would direct and write everything to bring this series to an end, is still talked about today 😆
